Youth is a difficult phase that combines a feeling of invincibility with the knowledge of the great unknown.

Forbes Chief Content Officer Randall Lane published the under-30 list 13 years ago to celebrate young talent in a variety of fields.

The 2024 Under 30 list includes representatives such as Brandon Avarghani, Bryce Crawford, Mark Ang, Rajia Abdelaziz, and Ray Hamilton.

Well-known people such as Kendall Jenner, Boygenius, Ice Spice, Latto, Jenna Ortega, and Maitei Ramakri Maiteyi Ramakrishnan are also on the list.

Being young, optimistic, and talented is an advantage early in your career.

While many on the list acknowledged the benefits of being young, others talked about the challenges they faced, such as negative stereotypes and the constant need to prove themselves

Haley Kluge noted that she faced negative predictions because of her appearance, but she saw this as an opportunity to prove herself.

Lizzy McApline shares the need to challenge the prejudices and stereotypes young women face when it comes to music.

Bharath Kannan believes that young people have an advantage in changing quickly, introducing new ideas, and using new tools.

The 2024 Under 30 list consists of 600 people; 42% of participants are women, 33% are Generation Z, and the youngest buyer is only 15 years old.
